TitleLetter from Charles Martindale of Cambridge to John Mortlock
Description Relating to the estate of the late Mr Forlow and the bonds from Mr Forlow to Mr Mortlock. [Mr Forlow is probably John Forlow junior who married Frances Martindale and died in 1805.] Mr Martindale writes: '... if it is in your Power to alleviate the misery of the afflcited Widow I doubt not but you will, if it is not I hope and trust Providence will enable her to bear the remainder of her trials with patience.' With copy replies from John Mortlock and John Cheetham Mortlock.
