Descriptiona) Letter from Mrs Holt to John Mortlock relating to lands hired of John Mortlock, with letter from Mr Pemberton to John Mortlock, and copy letter from John Mortlock to Mrs Holt relating to land she wishes to purchase of him, February 1813-October 1814.
b) Letter from Mrs Holt to Thomas Mortlock relating to disputed land of 2a 3r 13p in front of Abington Lodge as in lease of 1797, two covering letters for rent payments, three memoranda (one including sketch map), two letters from Chester Pern, copy letter from Thomas Mortlock to E. Randall, solicitor, with extract from inclosure minutes, 1819-1821.
c) Three letters from Mrs Holt to Thomas Mortlock, with two copy replies, relating a little misunderstanding between them about tree-planting and the continuation of the lease, 1825.
d) Correspondence between Mrs Holt, Thomas Mortlock and Christopher Pemberton (some with copy replies) relating to disagreements over sowing of grass and turnips, manure, trees, the gravel pit, letting water into the river, etc., and over Mrs Holt giving up some of the land she rents from Thomas Mortlock) with memorandum of agreement between Thomas Mortlock and James Johnson to let and hire land of 6a 2r 7p in Birch Lane, 1827-1833.
