Emmanuel College, 1 May 1741. Letter of Lord Townsend to Sir John Hynde Cotton enclosing letters to his steward Helder at Wicken (wanting) and to Mr Cole at Ely and Mr Peachey at Soham soliciting their votes and those of his tenants at Soham for Cotton.
