Description | Of Manor of Landwade, messuage in Storbridge Fair and liberty of erecting booths, lands in Landwade and woodland called The Horne Piece, released by deed of 19 May 1714 to use of Sir John Hynd Cotton to raise £6000 for maintainance and portion of younger child(ren) of same and Lettice Crowley, daughter of Sir Abraham Crowley, deceased, with further release of manor house and farm in occupation of Briant, both in Exning to use of Sir John Hynd Cotton during life and thereafter for 2000 years in trust to raise £2500 for similar uses. Sir John Hynd Cotton of Madingley, baronet, to John Crowley of East Greenwich (Kent), esquire, and James Hallett of Hatton Garden in St Andrews, Holbourn (Middlesex). |
