Second letter dated 18 March 1773 from Henry Watson, Registrar to the Prebendary Philip Cocks concerning the reluctance of Rev Thomas Strong to act as Surrogate and the necessity of him (Cocks) as Parish Visitor to personally come to Stow to carry out his visitation.
