Description | John Jones, Lincolns Inn, to George Thornhill Jun. Hemingford, Hunts. Succeeded in procuring evidence to establish title to land sold to River Co. Only difficulty a perpetual rent charge of £26 p.a. to Haberdashers Co. Proposed to indemnify purchasers from this charge by giving them a power of distress to enable them to reimburse selves from land not so charged. But need to ascertain precise lands on which such rent charge is made. Receites history of the rent charge. Point must be cleared up as regards future purchases and leases. |
