DescriptionVolume, containing printed pages from the 1840 edition of "Regulations and Orders of the Governor, Bailiffs and Conservators of the Bedford Level Corporation", with manuscript corrections and additions for a new revised edition. They include regulations and orders concerning Corporation meetings, the use of the Corporation seal, triennial lettings, the registration of deeds and wills, and tolls; a schedule of Adventurers' lands, and regulations concerning the annual taxation of Adventurers' lands. The pages have been pasted into a copy of "A Statement of the Produce and Expenditure of the City's Estate", for 1838. Also includes a copy of a case as to the registration of deeds at the Fen Office.
