Also contains an account of the money expended by the Bedford Level Corporation repairing Tong's Drain between 1829-1849; a draft advertisement of the public houses, tolls and banks to be let in 1849; an abstract of the Corporation's title to 339 acres of lands in Tong's Drain; extracts from the will of Dame Margaret Peel; [printed] notices to cottage tenants and owners of allotments at Guyhirn, about a meeting of a Committee; a petition of the Corporation against the Eau Brink Drainage Bill in 1860; report of the General Committee about the Little River Ouse in 1872; Messrs Archer and Son's bill of costs incurred in relation to the 1876 County Government Bill; contract with Philip Harrison Davies, for the removal and re-erection of "The Crown" at Oxlode; report of the Registrar about the legal position of the Corporation with regard to the parochial rates charged on cottages; handbill advertising that grazing and fishing rights in Burwell Fen will be let in 1886; deed poll to distrain rents due from John Fletcher; notice to quit served on David Nunns; a deed of arrangement with the Great Eastern Railway Company, about the reconstruction of the Queen Adelaide Bridge; draft notice served to the mayor, aldermen and burgesses of King's Lynn, about the appointment of an engineer; draft case as to whether a lease of Moreton's Leam granted to John Walbanke Childers is binding; a form of receipt to be used for the sale of lands and cottages; a form of lease to be used for the Corporation tolls; memoranda and other notes.
