Contains Ann Nicholas' oath that her late husband John Nicholas died intestate; administration bond for £2,100, binding Ann Nicholas, John Miller and William Parsons to assure that they will perform their duties as administrators of his estate; a schedule and inventory of property belonging to John Nicholas; a draft affidavit for Inland Revenue; a schedule of increment value due on his lands in Downham and Fodder Fen Common; a grant of administration, with provisos; Messrs Archer and Archer's bills of expenses incurred during the administration of John Nicholas' estate; notes and correspondence. Also contains a tender for work necessary to a house occupied by Mrs John Nicholas.
