DescriptionThe memorialists intend to apply for an Act of Parliament to improve the north [Barrier] Bank of the Welney Wash. They ask for permission to impose a tax of no more than 1s:6d per acre to raise funds for future works. They also object to a proposal to make a new cut between Welney and Salter's Lode (see Ref S/B/SP864). Twenty nine signatories.
