DescriptionThe memorialist erected a suspension bridge [in 1826] across the Hundred Foot River in Welney, and was granted permission to charge a toll. He reports that traffic across his bridge has halved since the building of the new railway bridge, and asks for compensation for his loss. One signatory. Also includes a covering letter from the memorialist.
