DescriptionMemorial against the Middle Level Improvement Bill's proposal to widen and deepen the rivers and cuts of the Middle Level. They argue that this would lower the water level of the Middle Level so much, that navigation between Northampton, Peterborough, Wisbech and King's Lynn would be sometimes be impossible. Fifty eight signatories. Also includes a covering letter from Atkinson and Jenkins, of Peterborough.
