Title	Letter from Reverend William Gale Townley, of Beaupre Hall, Outwell
Description	Letter to the Bedford Level Corporation, against the Hundred Feet Wash Commissioners' proposal to flood the [Ouse] Washes during the winter months (see Ref S/B/SP1799). He argues that this would endanger the land on either side of the [Ouse] Washes and prevent those living on the south side of the Hundred Foot River from reaching the church and school [in Welney] for several months of the year. One signatory.
