Title	Petition of the Owners and Occupiers of Land in the Parish of Welney
Description	Memorial against the Hundred Feet Wash Commissioners' proposal to flood the [Ouse] Washes during winter months (see Ref S/B/SP1799). They argue that this would endanger the land on either side of the [Ouse] Washes and prevent those living on the south side of the Hundred Foot River from reaching the church and school [in Welney] for several months of the year. Ninety two signatories.
