Description | The petitioners' lands in Whittlesey, March, Doddington, Wimblingdon and other places are flooded by 4 or 5 ft of water, as a result of the breaches in the south bank of Moreton's Leam. They represent that the south bank of Moreton's Leam is insufficient in both height and width to protect them against any future floods. They ask for a larger allotment than usual to be granted to repair the bank, and for Mr Golborne to survey the bank and to order any necessary repairs. Eighty seven signatories. |
