| Description | The petitioners represent that an order was made to repair a sluice near the River Ouse in June 1675, and that Mr Hammond and Mr Pierson were referred to view it. They ask for a certificate to be produced, or for others to be nominated to view the sluice and inform the Bedford Level Corporation as to the need to repair it. They also ask for posts and rails to be set down on the bank, to replace the ones taken up by the Corporation's agents when the bank was repaired. Thirty four signatories. |
