DescriptionThe petitioners represent that the Bedford Level Corporation made an order in May 1677 to grant £15 towards repairing [the sluice] in Swavesey Bank, which will now cost no less than £30. They ask to be allowed £30 towards the repair, or for the Corporation to repair it at their own expense. Twenty two signatories.
