TitlePetition of the Owners and Occupiers of Land in Ramsey, Holme, Stilton, Conington, Sawtry, Glatton, Yaxley and Farcet
DescriptionPetition for the channel of the River Nene to be scoured and enlarged between Whittlesey Mere and Ramsey High Lode, so that it is 24 ft wide and 3 ft deep. An estimate was presented to the Bedford Level Corporation in April [1755], and they ask for it to be done as soon as possible. Fifty eight signatories.
