DescriptionVolume "MM (ii)', containing copies of deeds conveying Adventurers' lands in the Bedford Level between 1779 and 1806. Also contains an index of conveyances registered (arranged alphabetically by vendor, but also detailing the purchaser). ¶This volume is mostly a duplicate of R59/31/1/MM/i. These duplicate volumes arose as a result of a dispute over the election of a new Registrar in 1815. This volume belonged to Mr Saffery, who acted as Registrar following Robert Bevill's death and refused to give up the office.
