Contains "Heads of a Bill for Amending the Acts relating to the Navigation of the River Nene"; Mr Walker's report about the 1852 Nene Valley Improvement Bill; a statement of the cost of repairing the south bank of Moreton's Leam; a statement of the annual cost of repairing the north bank of Morton's Leam; statements and observations; instructions for Isambard Kingdom Brunel; statements and observations concerning the Nene Valley works; the memorial of the owners and occupiers of lands in and near the Moreton's Leam Wash; copies of orders and resolutions affecting Moreton's Leam, Smith's Leam and the Nene Washes; extracts from the rental of Corporation property at Guyhirn, Moreton's Leam and Stanground; draft clauses and provisos; notes and correspondence. Also contains a summary of the rentals in April 1849, and lists of the principal owners of Adventurers' lands in the Middle and South Levels.
