TitleRegisters of new dwellings
DescriptionThese registers provide details about the building of new housing for the working classes in line with the Housing Financial Provisions Act, 1938; the Housing Act 1946; the Housing Subsides Acts, 1958 and 1967, and the 1961 Housing Act.
Each volume is Indexed alphabetically by address and entries are arranged in chronological order. Each is given a reference number; the address of the dwelling, type of dwelling and number of bedrooms; date of the council resolution; contract number and plan no; the amount and period of the annual exchequer subsidy; reference and date for the Minister's approval to pay subsidy; dates of commencement, completion and occupation; number and date of certificate of completion by the Surveyor or other authorised officer of the Council; a cross reference to the entry in the displacement register; and name and reference details to dwellings provided by Housing Association. "
