DescriptionThis subseries consists of general wage accounts, scavenging works accounts, wages accounts for the dredging of the river, a paviours account book, a masons account book, and an account book relating to the purchase of supplies.

The volumes of wage accounts contain a description of the work undertaken, the name of the worker, the number of days worked, and the rate of pay per day.

The paviour's and mason's account books detail the dimensions of materials used, the locality of the work and the name of the workman. The gravel supplies account book outlines the dimensions of the material purchased, the date and of whom purchased.
