TitleThe Cambridge Improvement Commissioners Bill, 1885
DescriptionThe Cambridge Improvement Commissioners Bill was promoted by the Commissioners with the intention to amend the law concerning rating of the University and Colleges, and for altering the constitution of the Commissioners under the Cambridge Improvement Acts. The series consist of copies of the first and second revisions of the bill; minutes, reports and resolutions of the Parliamentary Committee and Improvement Board; notices of meetings of the owners and rate payers of the Borough; and correspondence between CW Palmer, the clerk to the commissioners and the parliamentary agents for the bill, Sharpe and Co solicitors.
