TitleChesterton Overseers of the Poor
DescriptionIn 1894 Chesteron Local Board (CB/7A) was replaced by Chesterton Urban District Council, which like its predecessor had a small office off Milton Road and employed a medical officer, usually shared with the borough, and an inspector of nuisances and surveyor. In 1912 the UDC was absorbed by Cambridge Municipal Borough Council which became Cambridge City Council in 1974.
