DescriptionThis volume contains copies of 243 inquests. Individual inquests and depositions also survive for these inquests and have been catalogued at CB/Co/P23/5-CB/Co/P31/11. Inquests into the deaths of John Kirby on the 20 Mar 1866, died of natural causes; Ann Read on 28 Mar 1866, death hastened by her habit of taking excessive drink; and Amily Amelia Smith on 31 Mar 1866, died of natural causes, appear in this volume of inquests but the original inquest and depositions have not survived and been listed with the series CB/Co/P.
