TitleCounty Advisory Group on Archives and Local Studies 2007-present
DescriptionThe Group was a continuation of the Archives County Advisory Group (ACAG, see CC7/M8/2), relaunched to include library local studies within its remit. The aims of the Group, as agreed at the final meeting of ACAG, were: to be the main point of reference for consultation and advice on matters relating to archives and local studies within the county; to provide advocacy and publicity for archives and local studies collections and services; and to exchange information between stakeholders in order to stimulate and improve both individual activity and partnership working. It comprised County Council Members, District councillors, representatives of interested organisations, and interested persons.
