| Description | (1) Sir Arthur Smithes, Oden, Worcs., Kt. (2) Edward Maria Wingefield, Keiston, Hunts., Esq. Recites bond of 2 Nov. 1636 by which (2) and John Cotton, Steeple Giddinge, Esq., were bound to (1) in £500 for the payment of £312, (2) only being surety but has since been enforced to satisfy the same. Now (1) appoints (2) as his attorney to proper use of (2) to recover the £312 with due interest, from the aforesaid John Cotton, with power to imprison and release Cotton, and to appoint attorneys under himself. |
