TitleMortgage
Description(1) The Rt. Hon. Lord Gwydir, (Peter) (2) Sir Vicary, Gibbs, Lincolns Inn, Kt., one of His Majesty's Counsel. Recites: (i) Mortgage of 25 March, 1797. (ii) Non-payment of £5,218 of (i). (iii) (2) having since then lent(1) further sums of money on said premises, receipted for on back of (i) and sum owed now amounting to £8,743.4.9d. (iv) Surrender of lease of 17 April, 1795 to Dean and Chapter of Westminster to be cancelled and new one made, Susanna Campbell having died. (v) Said new lease of 31 Jan. last from Dean and Chapter to (1) of parsonage of Alc. and W. for lives of (1), his eldest son and William Peregrine Peter Burrell, another son, at £24 p.a. rent and £53.11.6d. land tax. (vi) Fine paid to Dean and Chapter for renewal of said lease = £1,812, and (1) having asked (2) to lend him this and for it to be added to the principal owed and charged on said premises. (vii) Loan from (2) to (1) of a further £844.15.3d. under the same conditions and (1) wanting further time to pay. (viii) Total owed = £11,400. (ix) Interest so far has been paid. (x) Surrender by (1) of all lands in the Manor of Alc. with W. to use of (2), and (2) has not yet been admitted thereto. (xi) Agreement between (1) and (2) that such further surrender of the said copyhold lands shall be made as hereinafter mentioned. Now for the said sums from (2) to (1), (1) to (2). Parsonage of Alc. with apps. and 13 allottments of land in Alc. and W. (470a.) allotted by the Enclosure to the Dean and Chapter in lieu of tithes and all tythes etc. in Weybridge being part of the said parsonage with all the lands belonging (except the trees and the Advowson of Alc. Church) and all the premises demised to (1) by said demise of 1 Jan. last, for 99 years if the said three shall so long live. (1) to do anything necessary for surrendering the premises to the Lord of the Manor and until then they are to be held in trust for (2). (1) agrees with (2) that the said premises in the said mortgage shall be charged with all the several sums mentioned. Usual covenants. Power of distraint to (2). (1) to do any necessary deeds of further assurance. (1) to procure renewal of lease of parsonage etc. if necessary. Endorsed: Receipt of even date from (1) to (2) for £844.15.3d.
