TitleDemise for a Term
Description(1) William Green, Alconbury, farmer. (2) Robert Hurst, Buckden, Esq. Recites: (i) Deed to Lead Uses of Fine of 21 June, inst. (ii) (1) by Lease of 31 Jan. 1807 and by Lease/Release of 20/21 May last being possessed of the Manor, farmhouse and lands (255a.7p.) called the Deanery Manor Farm described in Sch.I annexed. Clear except for demise of 23 May last to Thomas Bowis, P'boro, gent, for securing £2,000. (iii) (2) as Administrator of the will of the Rev. William Whitworth, clerk, late rector of Stilton, decd, of 23 March, 1802, has upon the trusts of the said will, money to lay out at interest on real security. (iv) (1), having asked (2) to lend him £1,000 on security of a demise of said lands and (1) having executed a bond of even date for further securing the repayment of the £1,000. Now for £1,000 from (2) to (1), (1) to (2). Same closes as in previous deeds. For 1,000 years. And Deanery Manor Farm, Alconbury (255a.7p) as in 1st. Schedule below - as in lease of 31 Jan. 1807. For 99 years if the said three live so long (subject to yearly rents as before and to mortgage to said Thomas Bowis). Usual covenants. (1) to do any necessary deeds of further assurance. (1) to make available to (2) all deeds specified in 2nd. schedule. First annexed schedule - of Deanery Manor Farm - field names and acreages given. Second Schedule - of deeds re. this land. Endorsed: (a) Receipt of even date from (2) to (1) for £1,000. (b) Surrender of Term 24 Dec. 1812 (1) Robert Hurst. (2) William Green. Recites: £1,000 still owing: £25 owing for arrears of interest. Now (1) to (2) for £1,025. All freehold closes at Alc. in above demise and Deanery Manor Farm. For terms to cease. Receipt from (1) to (2) for £1,025.
