Description1. William Starcey, citizen and cloathworker of London. 2. Sir Nicholas Pedley of Huntingdon, knight serjeant at law. Recites: Recognise (statute staple) 28 November which Robert Payne of St. Neots, Huntingdonshire, gent was bound to Stephen Anderson of Eworth, Bedfordshire, Esq, and Nicholas Pedley in £1000 for payment of £370 for legacies given by J. Connington of St. Neots, Gent to his children. For default of payment Pyne was disseised of property in Wintringham and St. Neots. Anderson and Pedley have made deeds to several persons with this property for the benefit of 1. who now covenants to save 2 harmless from the effects of the statute staple. Witnesses: Robert Rose, Robert Mills.
