DescriptionTo his son, James Topham, his farm and lands in Nether Staploe, which he lately purchased of Mr Thomas Ladds; the sum of £50; the stock, crop and other effects on the farm in Honydon in parish of Eaton Socon, now in occupation of James Topham the son; the sum of £10 pa for the 3 years after his decease for the management of his wife’s and his son Thomas’s farming business and keeping their accounts. To his son, John Topham, all the lands and premises in the parish of Eaton Socon which he purchased of Mary Wiles, James Kidman and Mr Leach; all the stock, crop and other effects on the farm at Begwray now in the occupation of John Topham the son; the sum of £60 due on William Thomas and John Fisher’s joint note. To his son Thomas Topham, all his messuages, lands and hereditaments in Hailweston. To his son, Jonathan Topham, the messuage or tenement with the grove and appurtenances in Nether Staploe which he purchased of Attwood Fisher and Thomas Creamer; all the arable lands and premises which he purchased of John Sibley. To his daughter, Katherine, the wife of John Croxton, the sum of £200. To his daughter, Hannah, the sum of £300. To all the children of his late brothers and sisters, 2 guineas each. To his wife, Ann Topham, and to his sons, Thomas and Jonathan, all the stock, crop and effects on the farms and premises now in his occupation. To his wife and his 4 sons, the residue of his personal estate. Appoints his wife and his sons, Thomas and Jonathan, joint executors.
