Description1. John Ratford late of St Neots and now of Highfield, gentleman. 2. John Norman of Gravely, Cambridgeshire, yeoman. 3. Daniel Sames of Yelling, yeoman. Recites: 1) Mortgage (by demise for 500 years) 13 April 1724. 1. Robert Boon of Weston, cordwainer. 2. John Ratford by the name of John Ratford, of St Neots, innholder. £33. Cottage or tenement and orchard with appurtenances in Hailweston, formerly in the occupation of John Parrell, and also 3 roods of arable land lying dispersedly in the common fields of Hailweston, then or late in the occupation of Parrell. 2) Since the making of the mortgage, the reversion and inheritance of the cottage, orchard and arable land is by mesne conveyances in the law vested in John Norman and his heirs. 3) All the interest on the sum of £33 has been paid off. Now, in consideration of £33 to 1 by 3 at the request of 2, 1 at the request of 2, assigns to 3 the premises in recital 1) for the residue of the term of 500 years.
