Description1. John Sybley, son of Reginald Sybley of Hayleweston. 2. Richard Dalton, Robert Wryght, William Brown and Thomas Lodyngton. 1 to 2 to the use of 1 and his heirs. A messuage and 15 acres of land, meadow and pasture with all their appurtenances, lying in the town and fields of Hayleweston, formerly John Markam’s (the messuage with half an acre of land lies between land of Henry Norres, Esquire, on the east, and land of the Master of St Peter’s, Cambridge, formerly William Hamelden’s, on the west, and abuts on the king’s highway to the south. One seal tag, but no seal remaining. Endorsed: note of livery of seisin in presence of Edward Tetworth, Laurence Sanfford, John Bosworth, William Middelton and several others (in Latin). 6 May 25 Hen VIII [1533].
