TitleCopy letter to Lieutenant Eastwood
DescriptionCopy letter to Lieutenant Eastwood, presumably from the brother of William Lowe (as in 5616/1/2), who writes "we have but just received the remainder of my leate dear brothers things". However, the family had been told there were two boxes of possessions, but they had only received one box, and the writer is particularly anxious to having a "portrait which I expected to find in the box, but have been disappointed".. He refers to the South Lincolnshire Militia which are at present in Stamford, and "from which my poor brother volunteered". The letter is annotated "Copy of a Letter to Lieut. Eastwood about Poor William. Not sent"
