Staughton deposed that - [ ] had given him six snares, instructed him in the use thereof, bidden him met them at St. Staughton, that he, Steward had sold 3 hares (3e each) and one partridge (1/6) to one Crowe at at. Neots and after spending 5s had given the rest to Willes (who freely forgave the 5a) that lies subsisted his family by the sale of game which be carried every week to Crowes.
