DescriptionGiving notice of the relaxation of the regulation: that no Officer is to be recommended for the Adjutancy of a Militia Regiment, who is over 40 years old. The age limit is now to be 50, provided that the 40-50 year olds can prove their general fitness for such an appointment. It is also to be prefered that Commissioned Officers of the Line rather than N.C.O's be selected as Adjutants of Militia.
