TitleLetter; J.G. Green, Huntingdon, to 7th Earl of Sandwich.
DescriptionCannot fill in the return received, until the Regiment has assembled, because cannot know accurately how many officers and men will occupy Quarters until the time arrives. Has written and told all the officers the time of assembly. Thinks it would be desirable to appoint another 1st Lieuntenant for this year's training: the appointment could be reserved for George Rust jnr. until the formation of the extra company in 1853. Mr. Kelly is said to be a fine recruit. Is anxious to get the N.C.Os and Buglers promised by the War Office. Has heard no news of Serjeant Latham. Feels that it might be desirable to get the services of the Serjeant, Corporal and Private of the 90th Regiment who are now recruiting in Huntingdon.
