Description | This book, written by the Rector, the Rev. William Brereton, from Aug. 1908 - Oct. 1916, contains details of various parish events, including some baptisms, confirmations, marriages and burials. There are lists of the inhabitants of the parish in 1898 (p.2), 1915(p.60), 1920(p.81), 1922(p.92) and 1925(p.97); a brief statement of accounts and description of the work re the restoration of the steeple etc., (pp. 4,8,9,11); references to 1903 and 1904 being poor farming years (p.26); notes on the sale of J.N.
