Description | Received letters from his mother, was beginning to feel uneasy. Twos letters from Marsailes with one dated 24th. They had a merciful escape but not shaken off the scarletina (scarlet fever). Is pleased they are on their way to Naples. Hears he has won a prize and wishes to hear more, "remember no one is more interested about you than Grandmama". The Baillies has gone with his parents to Naples, mother caught a cold at the time of the accident and had some gout in her foot. Mention her kindly to Mr & Mrs Isaacson and propose they accompany him to Brampton for 2 or 3 days. |
