Title | Letter from Lord Robert Montagu, House of Commons, to his brother, the Duke of Manchester |
Description | He would like to come down to Kimbolton but is engaged at dinner for the next two days . He must work tomorrow in case he is called to speak against time. The government had a hard run yesterday night and sent out to get men hauled back to vote. The whip is getting in a fright over the Reform Bill and the Radicals think it is too conservative. He hopes the Masters and Operatives Committee will do good but they say the Manchester faction only support the interests of the mill owners. |
