DescriptionShe received Millicent's note and hoped Millicent had realised her mistake in accusing her of 'mischief making' last winter. At the time she declined any further correspondence with Millicent but she will reply now in the expectation that Millicent will refute the accusation in her next letter. The letter makes reference to Lord Gosford's recent troubles together with the effect on his health and to her slow recovery from a recent fall, also the confinement of someone to the house with 'pulse irregularity'. Ends with reference to visit to Tonbridge and Lady Olivia's improvement in health.
