DescriptionHe was woken at 4 o'clock in the morning by Sir William Wake. There is a "very contemptible opposition" afoot in Bedford which should not succeed. He is extremely ill but shall go to Bedford directly and hopes that Sir Robert will join him there. Barton is at the head of this opposition. Final page(s) missing. [Addressed to Sir Robert in Margate, Kent].
