Title | Letter to the Duke of Manchester, from his son, Viscount Mandeville, London |
Description | With thanks for the kind advice. He did not think of travelling as one of Abercorn's party but merely at the same time. He will tell the Abercorn how kindly the Duke spoke of him. His [Mandeville's] grandmother will not give more than £100 for preserving the game. He thinks Sandwich will give it up and she will take it up herself. He does not think it would be worth shooting on her lands as one would have so many difficulties with her in managing it. Regards to the Duchess. |
