Description[Dated "Thursday the 29th"]. Reports that Mr Pitt's bill was thrown out by three votes. Mr Stour idled his time away in Paris, thinking parliament dissolved, and fancied himself in love with Mme de Canillac. The Duke of Dorset spends all his time at Versailles and "is so much attracted to this Court that he is a very improper person to be trusted with the secrets of our Cabinet." Efforts to promote Mr Moore to the Ambassador.
