Quoting a settlement drawn up in 1724 prior to the marriage of (i) between Arabella Godfrey, widow (now deceased) on the one part; Elizabeth Dunch, widow on the second part; and Edward Thompson the elder and Edward Thompson the younger on the third part. (i) have now agreed to separate.
This deed makes arrangements for the properties settled on Arabella Thompson following their separation (including the Manors of Settrington and Sutton near Brotherton in Yorkshire) and for the education of their daughter. |
