Memoranda at front: December 1812 statistics from 1801 census (229 families, 1117 persons, 48 persons in Chettisham). Total annual number of baptisms and burials 1776- 1812. Curate's note dated June 1807 about the minister's pew. Number of persons confirmed by Bishop on ten occasions 1783-1847.
Amongst baptisms, 1776: Memorandum of pew taken from the Chapel of Ely House in Holborn for use of minister and family. After baptisms in 1813 is inserted list of BAPTISMS omitted between March and May 1799.
Memoranda between baptism and burial entries: Note by John Griffith, minister in 1813 about the missing register with extract from it of baptism of Oliver Cromwell's daughter Frances on 6 December 1638. List of ministers 1670 - 1915; Note of long-lived clergymen and William South of Downham; mortality amongst Bishops in 1827 and of multiple changes in clergy in 1641. List of registers existing in 1831 and 1834 with note about marriage register 1754 - 63 (which was missing by 1800). Note of population in 1782 (227 families, 1147 inhabitants).
Memoranda on blank pages after burials: 2 instances of longevity in Ely 1804 and 1808. Notes on weather and harvests 1813 - 38. Execution of rioters in Ely 28 June 1816; execution of Robert Brigstock incendiary 21 April 1834; execution of John Rolfe for murder 24 February 1823; execution of Robert Head for burglary 6 March 1823. End of Bishop of Ely's secular jurisdiction and closing of Ely gaol 1836.
