Description(By a Demise for 500 years) John Serjeant the elder of Ramsey, brandy merchant, to Charles Bonner of Spalding, Lincs, gent, and William Hopkinson of Stamford, Lincs, gent, as trustees of a settlement made prior to the marriage of John Serjeant the younger of Ramsey, gent, and Rebecca, his wife, then Rebecca Bycroft of Spalding, spinster, one of the granddaughters of Jane Sanderson of Spalding, widow. £500, part of the £1,000 left to Bonner and Hopkinson by Mrs Sanderson in trust for Serjeant the younger and his wife. 2 acres of fen ground near the Forty Feet Bridge, Ramsey, the buildings erected thereon, 3 acres of pasture at or near the Forty Feet Bridge, messuage, now devided into 2 tenements, in the High Street, Ramsey, Bill Lot (as in R7/3/21), and all their appurtenances.
