Description | Complainants: Tenants of Manor representes by Robert Poulter, Robert Walpole, Hunphrey Hart and William Haines. Defendants: James Ravenscroft, Lord of Manor and William Hetley, owner of its reversion. Recites. Articles of Agreement. 26 October 1648 between defendants who also included Sir Oliver Cromwell and Henry Cromwell, on one part and tenants on the other in which agreement was reached concerning inclosure and of exchange of land between tenants with view to inclosure without obligation of fines, also concerning termination of certain manorial custom such as plough days and reap days. Decree now, on behalf of tenants, as complainants enforces implementation of above agreement. Details of enclosure not given. |
