DescriptionSeated studio portrait of a Mrs. Parsons, who was possibly related to Richard Parsons, one of the principal landowners in Elsworth listed in the trade directory of 1888. Although Mrs Parsons would have been supported by a neck brace, she was unable to keep her right hand still for the three minutes' exposure time required.
