DescriptionThis building, adjacent to St Marys church, had previously been the Bull public house, which was listed as being on this site in the 1572 Survey of the town. The building later housed the offices of Markham, brewer, and later the offices of Dilley, Son & Read. The building was eventually demolished and the modern Saxongate stands on this site today.
